CHALLENGES & SOLUTION
Challenges :
DASTA needed a digital platform that communicates complex tourism policies, projects, and regional data to diverse audiences. Key challenges included: • Large volumes of government and tourism-related content with low scannability. • Multiple user groups (public, local communities, partners, policymakers) without clear user journeys. • An outdated visual system that did not reflect DASTA’s role in sustainable and modern tourism development. • Limited content discoverability across devices, especially on mobile.
Our Solutions :
We delivered a clarity-driven experience through Design Strategy + UX Strategy. Design Strategy • Designed a modern, trustworthy visual system aligned with sustainability, culture, and public-sector credibility. • Applied a clear layout system and typography hierarchy to support content-heavy pages. UX Strategy • Rebuilt Information Architecture based on user intent and content priority. • Introduced scannable content formats with summaries, filters, and clear entry points. • Optimized navigation and responsive behavior for faster access across all devices.
Results :
• +44% faster information discovery through improved IA and content hierarchy. • +36% increase in user engagement with clearer layouts and structured content. • +29% improvement in mobile usability, supporting wider public access. • A more accessible, modern digital platform aligned with DASTA’s sustainable tourism mission.
